‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is actually keenly aware of how to keep his sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) at bay. The question is, will Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) heed his advice and do as he asks?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Family Threat
Ashley Abbott hates Diane Jenkins. She wants to get her out of the Abbott family and away from Jabot, the family cosmetics company. Her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is in love with Diane. He wants to marry Diane and has offered her the job of Chief Talent Officer of Jabot.
Ashley is really concerned about Diane’s influence on Jabot. She was thinking about staging a coup against Jack and getting him removed as CEO. She did not succeed at this because she couldn’t get enough support from the other members of the board.
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has convinced her to leave Jabot and start a new company with her, called Simply Ashly. It will be Jabot’s competitor.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Billy’s Suggestion
Diane approached Tucker, asking him if he would be willing to get his hands dirty to save Jabot. She doesn’t want Jack to get any more involved in this issue with Ashley.
If Tucker and Ashley don’t play fair, then she needs someone else who is willing to do this in the fight to save the company. Bill says he will do anything he can to protect Jabot and to support his brother.
Billy then gives Diane an interesting suggestion. He suggests that Diane take some time off of her new job in order to plan her wedding. She should step away from her position temporarily.
Diane balks at this, refusing to “let Ashley win”. She doesn’t want to give up her new job and she doesn’t want Ashley to come out on top in this battle.
But Billy is right. He doesn’t know it yet, but Ashley’s plan is to get the Jabot employees to hate Diane. Then more will leave the company and will weaken it.
Then she can take it over. If Diane is not there, then Ashley won’t succeed in her plan. Diane doesn’t like this idea, but it would be a really good one. Do you think she will do what he suggests?
