‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to close the week out in style, and it looks like we’re going to get some interesting moments coming our way.

Power structures are being rewritten and changed and those ideas aren’t going to be accepted by many, but that’s never stopped Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) before.

We still think he’s setting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and others up for a teaching moment about taking orders from him, but we could be wrong.

Let’s dive into some spoilers and see what’s going on!

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 25: Trouble in paradise

Things are going to be heating up in the Newman family as well as at Newman Enterprises as Victor has some plans that aren’t going to sit too well with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)’s presentation and understanding of the material will impress Victor, and when Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) flat out asked Victor about losing her job, he’ll think she should be the one he mentors.

Nikki will disagree, of course, and she won’t like Victor considering promoting Nate or Audra over his own children. Guess ‘Young and the Restless’ were wrong about Victor’s nepotism?

This could shape up to be an interesting internal war as the Newman kids fight to keep their positions in the family while complaining about their positions in the family.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 25: Adam pushed Nick and Sharon’s buttons

In a move that’s not really surprising, Adam will declare that he should be SNB media’s boss after it’s folded into Newman Media and he can reclaim the company he started.

This will rub Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) the wrong way, and they’ll try to talk him out of it and to let go of his quest for power.

    No photo description available.

We don’t expect them to have much success with it, and things between them will only get more tense when they learn he offered Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) a job without talking to Nick.

We don’t see this partnership lasting long, especially with Sharon not wanting her company to be enveloped by Newman Media, and this should lead to some fun arguments between the three.

And as Nikki will point out to Victor, his actions will probably only make things worse for everyone before it’s over.

Is Victor making a huge mistake at setting all of this into motion? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
