‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is getting bashed from all sides. The hits keep coming professionally and personally. She is keeping her poker face on, but will she erupt at some point? Will it get to be too much for her to take?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Professional Woes
Y&R’s Audra has a professional mess to deal with. She is rocking it as the new CEO of Newman Media, but now her position is being threatened. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has found some dirt on her from her days at McCall Unlimited.
While the situation was resolved and nothing illegal happened, it still won’t look good for Audra’s reputation if the story is leaked.
Adam wants her to convince his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), to agree to a merger between Newman Media and Adam’s new company. Adam took over McCall Unlimited and renamed it Adustus.
Adustus is going to merge with Sharon Newman Rosales’ (Sharon Case) new acquisition, Kirsten Incorporated. Adam would like to see all of that then merge with Newman Media.
Audra realizes her job might be eliminated if this happens and she will no longer have her CEO position. She is going to have to struggle to keep her job. So, she either lets this bad press come out and destroy her reputation or she helps bring about a merger and may lose her job. It’s stressful and not pretty.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Personal Woes
Audra has been sleeping with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and it has been a distraction for both of them. Kyle is married to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) but they are separated.
When Audra meets Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) at Crimson Lights, they strike up a friendly conversation. Diane seems to want to get to know the woman Kyle is having a relationship with both in the bedroom and in the office.
But the conversation goes south quickly as Diane shares that she doesn’t support this relationship at all. In her opinion, Kyle is running from his problems and Audra is helping him do that.
Diane is convinced that Kyle still loves Summer and that they belong together. It’s not a very pleasant conversation to have when you are the other woman.
Audra holds it all together well and does not get emotional, but it is apparent that the professional situation really worries her. The discussion with Diane doesn’t make her angry, but she seems to be somewhat sad about it.
Is Audra really holding it all together? Will she end up falling part or will she find someone to support her?
