‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to kick off a new week, and this one looks like it’s going to be a mix of the old and the new.

While there’s plenty of fun and games with the murder set up, we’re also going to get some teaching moments that feel like they’re not as new and fresh as we’d expect.

Let’s get into some spoilers and see what’s coming!

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 17: Victor’s latest lesson

In a storyline that we see repeated what seems like every other month, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will attempt to teach Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) a painful lesson.

In this case, we suspect it’ll have to do with the news that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is pregnant with Adam’s child and he still loves her.

Since that doesn’t work for what Victor wants, we expect him to infuriate Adam by pointing out Sally’s distracting him and isn’t worth his time and so on, as well as lambast Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for his hand in it.

To prove his point, he may pull the opportunity to run McCall Unlimited out from under Adam to show him the true lesson in life: that he should listen to Victor and only Victor.

“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect this to go over as well as Victor’s other lessons. Here’s one: Victor learns to stop manipulating everyone for his whims and lets them live their own lives and make their own mistakes.

We doubt that’ll ever happen though.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 17: Way to go Red

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is finally starting to wake up from her delusions, but it’s going to cost her.

If she tries to come forward to spare her loved one’s pain, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will kill her and walk away with everything he wants.

This leaves Phyllis in a tough spot since she doesn’t want to be dead for real, but she has to figure a way out of the mess she got herself into.

It’s going to be interesting seeing what he does since we doubt Stark will let her out of his sight for long.

The easiest would be to walk into the Abbott mansion or Nick’s and announce what she did. Maybe even play it off as a joke.

Of course, that doesn’t help her as far as Stark is concerned, but then she may think just outing their plan will be enough to send the police after him and keep him away.

What kind of plan will Phyllis come up with? Let is know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
