The Abbott family is currently at war. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) came back to Genoa City and captured Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) heart. Even though she hurt him so much in the past, he made a decision to forgive her and find happiness.
Jack asked Diane to move into the Abbott mansion. Then he asked her to marry him. Finally, he gave her a job at Jabot as Chief Talent Officer. All of this has caused the ire of his sister, Ashley Newman (Eileen Davidson). S
he hates Diane and does not trust her. She believes that Diane is out to destroy Jack’s life and ruin Jabot. Nothing will convince Ashley that this is not true.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Wedding of Convenience
When Jack and Diane were getting cozy, Ashley decided that she had to do something to deal with the situation. The idea that she came up with was to use her relationship with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to help Jack see the error of his ways with Diane.
Tucker McCall really seems to have legitimate feelings for Ashley. He wants to do everything he can to support her and help her. He tells her that he loves her and seems genuinely frustrated when she can’t say it in return.
She keeps holding him at a distance, saying that it will take her a long time to really trust him again. He really hurt her in the past.
Abby wasn’t too happy to hear that her mother was getting back together with Tucker. She knows how badly Tucker behaved to her mother. However, Abby was finally convinced of its authenticity and even offered to throw the wedding at the Chancellor Mansion.
But now, after Jack and Diane have tied the knot, she is seeing something she did not see earlier. She can see that Ashley is trying to use her relationship with Tucker to bother her brother.
Abby tells Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that her mother is not being honest and is the one who is stirring up this Abbott family battle.
What will happen next? Will Devon share with Tucker that Ashley doesn’t love him? Or will Tucker and Ashley go through with the wedding after all? What do you think?
