‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that the Newman family is facing their greatest challenge. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) seems to have a growing paranoia, and this could have devastating results for the family and for Newman Enterprises.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Unexpected Moves
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has been at the helm of Newman Enterprises for quite some time. She is a strong and capable leader who is like her father in many ways.
He has always been able to do trust her to do the very best for the company. As a result, it was a big shock when he demoted her, taking the top spot back for himself.
He moved his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) over to be CEO of Newman Media, which means she has less knowledge of what is going on at the top. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is not currently at Newman. He is working with his ex-wife, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) at Kirsten Incorporated.
Before taking over again, Victor also changed his mind about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). He offered her a position opening a design division at Newman and then suddenly pulled the plug on it saying he changed his mind. That was a very unusual move.
Then this week, as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was leaving his office with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Victor called Adam “Nicholas”. When Adam questioned him, he did not even recall that he did that.
When Nikki asks him about it later, he says that he did it intentionally. He also then tells her that his company is in danger and that he has to be wary because they are after him and his company.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoiler: Treading Carefully
The problem is that the children can see that something is wrong with their father. They know that he is not acting like himself and is not in the best position to run this company. They want to protect the company and the Newman legacy. Obviously, they want that for themselves and their children.
However, if they make a move against Victor to protect Newman Enterprises, he is going to see this as a validation of his belief that he is under attack. He may do something drastic to keep the company away from them and they may come out of it all with nothing. He is going to see their good intentions as evil ones.
Even Nikki, someone he has always trusted, may end up being on his bad side in all of this. How can the Newman family get through this? How can they help Victor and protect Newman Enterprises?
