It all begins with Kyle (Michael Mealor) interrupting Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kerry’s (Alice Hunter) romantic night together. Sensing that they need to be alone, Kerry tells them that she has work to do and leaves. Kyle brings his father up to speed about Lola’s situation. At Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) apartment, Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) insists that she’s pregnant. Rey wants proof. Unfortunately, she threw out her positive pregnancy test. A frustrated Rey tells Mia that they are going to the hospital to see Lola (Sashe Calle).

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) brings her daughter Summer (Hunter King) up to speed about everything that has happened these last few months. Summer is left in shocked after hearing the details about JT Hellstrom’s death for the first time. Phyllis tells her daughter that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will walk away free once it’s been proven that she killed him in self-defense. Phyllis tells Summer that Nick (Joshua Morrow) kicked her out of the house. She then asks her daughter if she did the right thing. Summer hugs her mother and tells her that she is there for her. The two embrace.

At Victoria’s house, Michael (Christian LeBlanc), Nick and Billy (Jason Thompson) go over what steps need to be taken in order to help Nikki, Victoria, and Sharon. Michael wants to make sure that the women do not testify because if they do, the district attorney will cross examine them and catch them on their lies. Nick, meanwhile, thinks Phyllis should pay for her betrayal. Michael says he’s got a plan.

Over at the hospital, Lola’s situation isn’t improving. She now needs a liver transplant. Rey and Arturo (Jason Canela) will be tested to see if they are the right match. Rey warns Mia that she is going to get a pregnancy test at the hospital. A pregnant woman drops a wad of cash and asks Mia if she is looking to make some extra side money. Before she can answer, Rey takes her to the pharmacy. He warns her that if Lola doesn’t survive, Mia will face murder charges. The doctor later tells Lola’s brothers that they weren’t a match and urges the men to ask everyone they know before it’s too late. Both brothers are worried about the future.
