According to the results of the autopsy, Aaron Carter puffed and took prescription medication before he passed away.
Aaron drowned in the bathtub of his Lancaster home, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s findings, but he also took alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax, and inhaled pressurized difluoroethane, the propellant found in compressed air cans.
According to the investigation, he was “incapacitated while in the bathtub due to the effects” of the narcotics and the huffing, and in the end, he drowned after slipping under the water. Officially, Aaron’s death was deemed to be accidental.
Aaron Carter’s former fiancée and mother of his child said, “The results of the autopsy are not closure for me. It claims death is by drowning but also adds he was wearing a t-shirt and necklace in the bathtub which doesn’t make sense, why would he be in a bathtub with clothes on? I am still in shock and still miss Aaron every day. I don’t understand the chain of events and this report only has us asking more questions.”
Aaron Carter’s Autopsy Finally Reveals The TERRIBLE Cause Of Death
Last November, Aaron’s body was discovered. Aaron’s relatives asserted that the coroner informed them there was no water found in Aaron’s lungs and that they should assume he overdosed on drugs before passing away.

The bathroom and bedroom both contained numerous cans of compressed air from Surf Onn, according to the postmortem report. Authorities also discovered multiple prescription bottles inside the house.
Near the bathtub, other clothing items were discovered, including a beanie, a sweater, and some jeans. The sweatshirt’s front pocket had a nozzle tip for one of the pressurized air cans.
You’ll recall that Aaron had a major substance addiction issue in the years preceding his death. His fiancée, Melanie Martin, told us she believed drugs were what killed him. As previously said, police discovered prescription medication and compressed air cans in Aaron’s bathroom and bedroom.
Melanie informed us of a text message exchange on Aaron’s phone in which he claimed to owe someone $800 for an unidentified narcotic. Melanie then reported the exchange to the police for additional inquiry.
