Erika Jayne has admitted that she cannot afford to pay her taxes.

The star of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ is allegedly in big financial trouble. It is claimed that she owes somewhere in the region of $2,226,985.77 which is due to unpaid taxes from the periods of 2011, 2012 and 2013.
And given that Erika was involved in another legal issue over accusations she had embezzled funds, the last thing that she needs to contend with is this. In her comments, Erika said: “I am in the midst of trying to figure out the basis of this tax bill with the assistance of my business manager, who is also an accountant.
“I do not have the ability to pay the [California Franchise Tax Board] tax bill.” This begs the question: how will Erika be able to settle this? Well, there is the possibility that her assets could be taken in order to cover the shortfall.
This is based on the precedent that was set during the embezzlement claims in which Erika was apparently ordered to hand over some earrings that her former lover Tom Girardi had bought with the supposed embezzled funds. With that being said, things are not looking very good for Erika.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. A significant proportion of fans were of the view that this was bound to impact the way that Erika would proceed with her reality TV career forward. After all, she has every incentive to stay on the housewives franchise, knowing that every dollar is a must.
One person wrote: “They will put her on a payment plan I’m sure. But she better keep the drama fresh cause she’s gonna need those RHOBH checks coming in,” while another person stated: “It’ll be interesting to see if she can keep up the tough-broad persona she’s recently adopted.
