Meghan Markle has a reputation for making false claims and exaggerating the truth. Princess Pinocchio has also been caught in several lies and blatant dishonesty throughout the years. There are countless examples of how Meghan has stretched the truth to her advantage.
Meghan Perfectly Plays The Victim Role
Her aim is generally to gain sympathy, as she often plays the victim card like a violin. Royal and media experts have exposed her as a proven liar. And there are a plethora of examples.
Prince Harry and Meghan told Oprah during their March 2021 interview that they were secretly wed in a private ceremony three days prior to their lavish royal affair.
Meghan’s ambition has always been to show that she doesn’t care about the spotlight, but this lie was disproven.
She told Oprah that the Archbishop of Canterbury married the couple before their televised walk down the aisle.
“We called the Archbishop, and we just said, ‘Look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world, but we want our union to be between us,”
She said.
Two weeks after the infamous interview, Harry and Meghan admitted that they hadn’t married before the ceremony.
An official marriage certificate blew her claims right out of the water. The General Register Office revealed their wedding certificate for the first time. It showed that they were legally wed on May 19th, 2018.
Not to mention that a couple must have at least two witnesses to marry legally. Howeve Meghan claimed that it was just Harry, herself, and the Archbishop who were present.
Meghan Markle Claimed To Know Nothing About The Royal Family
Meghan Markle also claimed to know nothing about the royals before she met Harry. However, she wrote about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding on her blog, “The Tig.”
She even made a dig at Princess Catherine, saying that all little girls dream of becoming a Princess. However, Meghan felt that she was special because she was the little girl who dreamed of being She-Ra Princess of Power.
“For those of you unfamiliar with the 80s cartoon reference, She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength. We’re definitely not talking about Cinderella here. Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.”
She exclaimed.
An old friend of Meghan’s also said that Meghan was always fascinated by the royal family and always wanted to be like Princess Diana. Meghan and this friend often watched Charles and Diana’s wedding, which her mom had on videotape.
Meghan even tried to emulate Princess Diana by wearing Diana’s favorite perfume, Penhaligon’s Bluebell, on her first date with Harry to capture his heart and flood him with memories of his mother.
The Omid Scobie Factor
There’s also the whole Omid Scobie factor. When Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand’s book, “Finding Freedom” was published, the couple claimed they weren’t involved or briefed about the content.
However, correspondence was released by the Court of Appeal, which proved they were consulted and briefed by the authors.
The Duchess of Sussex admitted she lied in court and apologized because she supposedly “forgot” these emails.
Meghan’s most damaging claim about the royals was when she played the race card in the Oprah interview. She said that while pregnant with Archie, there were “concerns” and “conversations” about how dark Archie’s skin would be. This statement could have been a setup for an even bigger lie.
In November 2023, Omid Scobie, who is Meghan’s mouthpiece, “accidentally” left the names of the so-called “royal racists” in the Dutch edition of his book, “Endgame.” The names were King Charles and Kate Middelton.
However, Scobie said the names were disclosed in a private letter Meghan Markle wrote to Charles. Why would Meghan have to share this in a letter to Charles if he was one of the alleged racists?
There are just too many examples of Meghan’s deception, and she has proven herself to be a liar in several instances. Meghan’s the worst kind of liar; she’s a narcissist and a serial fibber whose number one goal is to cause trouble.
