Vanessa Morgan, who you may know from the hit show The Riverdale star, has confirmed that she has given birth to her first child.The star gave birth this weekend, and she was accompanied through it all by her ex-husband Michael Kopech.

When announcing the breaking news, she told her fans on Instagram the following: “Exciting news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January. This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you!!”
And the joy continued as the actress could not hide her excitement at starting motherhood. She added: “[I want to be] the best mommy [I] could be. Lil one you were made with so much love and already exude a light so strong it warms my belly. Thank you, God, for this blessing. I’m just so happy.” So what was the reaction of her fellow stars?
Well, they got in on the excitement as their comments showed. Madelaine Petsch, her co-star from The Riverdale, replied with: “I love you!!!!! So excited.” And Madelaine has been there for Vanessa throughout her whole journey. She defended the fellow actress after she received criticism on Instagram as to whether she and her husband would ever conceive. In response, Madelaine said:
“Honestly if I see one more comment like this I’ll lose it. Vanessa is a beautiful mother to be and the hate and disrespect I’m seeing on this post about her bringing a new life into this world is disgusting.” And this adds a crowning glory to what has been a difficult period for Vanessa. She was married to Michael for less than a year after the duo had gotten engaged. Vanessa marked the moment with the following comment: “My forever.”
But although the relationship with Michael became estranged, her pregnancy united the two together for that sweet moment. And the stars were aligned as Vanessa’s Instagram post showed. She wrote: “Toni T. “First Day Back. Six months later and six months [pregnant].” It is good to see Vanessa and Michael doing well. And long may that continue.
