‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers suggest that all the Forrester family are carrying a heavy secret. Eric Forrester (John McCook) is dying, and he believes that his condition is a secret. As more and more family members learn about the situation, will it still stay under wraps? In order to deal with the burden they are carrying, will the family decide to do something special to appreciate Eric?
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Difficult News
B&B’s Eric Forrester started noticing that he was having more difficulty with designing. Tremors in his hands kept him from holding a pencil. He couldn’t draw like he needed to or wanted to. This was not the only symptom though. He also began to cough up blood.
His doctor ran a lot of different tests. They have determined that he has been having mini-strokes and he is not in good shape. He has a few months to live and there is really nothing else that they can do for him.
Eric doesn’t want anyone to pity him. He doesn’t want anyone to know about his prognosis. His wife Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) knows as does his sister-in-law, Katie Logan (Heather Tom).
His grandson RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) also knows and helped him sketch all his designs for this challenge with B&B’s Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Eric thinks that his secret is confined to this small group, but the news is spreading.

In actuality, many more people now know about Eric’s situation. Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) know and have just started telling their children. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matt Atkinson) are overcome with emotion but they can’t admit they know anything. Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) also heard the news.
While Steffy and Thomas did not admit to Eric that they know his diagnosis, they were able to remind him of a few of their favorite memories with him and they told him how much they appreciate it his influence in their lives.
Perhaps to handle this heavy secret they are all carrying, the Forrester family will come up with a way to celebrate their father and grandfather and his legacy at Forrester. Do you think that they family may decide to do this so that they can honor him while he is still present?
