For the last several weeks now, Hope has been spending more time with Thomas and his son, Douglas than her own husband Liam. Now, that’s not because she feels attracted to Thomas. Instead, she believes that Douglas needs a mother figure in his life right now. And who better than to help him in his grieving process than someone else who is dealing with a huge loss: Hope.

And while Hope thinks that she’s doing a good deed here, she doesn’t realize that her own husband Liam is also grieving and privately suffering in his own way, too. After all, they lost Baby Beth together. But for some reason Hope seems to be very fixated on wanting to give Liam away to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) so that the two of them can raise their girls together.
Of course, Liam is wiling and ready to fight for his marriage. He’s not going to let go of Hope too easily. But now that Thomas has admitted that he has feelings for Hope, things might get very complicated fast. There’s no way that Liam will let go of Hope without a fight. Liam has insisted that Hope should focus on herself than others who she thinks are in need. Hope might think that she’s doing the right thing, but is this what her heart really wants?
