‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that his collapse at the mansion may have accelerated Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) countdown. Thankfully, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) was with him when this shocking moment happened.
A big party had just been announced in the tradition of so many Forrester family bashes. But Eric’s announcement was coupled with his increasingly haggard appearance. His body, failing by the week and then day, seemed to decline hourly.

Eric has reminisced in recent weeks, taking stock of a self-described wonderful life. He did so again at the mansion, with Donna sharing some laughs regarding his recollections of his longtime wife, co-founder of Forrester Creations, and the mother, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), of some of his children.
One of their offspring, Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon), will be returning to Los Angeles, California. Another, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones), will do as well. Eric and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) are Bridget’s parents. Of course, the rivalry between Stephanie and Brooke remains one of the most legendary conflicts in B&B’s storied history.
A respectful nod to two of the great loves of Eric’s life will be given by including those returning children in upcoming episodes. As viewers saw, Eric mentioned his marriages to Brooke, noting that he always felt Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was her destiny.

To pretend that they did not know about Eric’s condition these past weeks has been hard. But that is what Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke, Stephanie Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and some others were forced to do.
The above group deferred to Eric’s wishes, as Donna, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) also pretended they did not tell the list of forbidden people. McCook’s character was not thinking straight.

One of the more touching moments in recent memory happened just before Eric collapsed on the living room floor of the mansion. He cried and told Donna he was scared while tears ran down his face.
Arguably, the most memorable finale in this soap opera’s history was when Stephanie died in Brooke’s arms on the beach in 2012. Yes, it does not seem like more than a decade has passed since Flannery retired.
Devoted viewers recall that Flannery reprised her character in 2018, when Brooke, who was remarrying Ridge at the mansion, heard her voice.
Another reprisal will be in order if McCook is retiring, with Stephanie returning to walk him to heaven. Time will tell if Eric dies and how that is handled in this compelling storyline on B&B.
