‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that one can stand at the summit. But falling over the other side or being pushed down can reverse perceived good fortunes.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) believes that the past was left behind. It had to be because his father protected him from justice.
However, Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) death has never been addressed. Instead, the authorities concluded that she lost control of her vehicle and drove off Mulholland Drive to her death.

Should Emma have sent a text to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) while she was heading to the cabin? No.
However, Sioux’s character did not crash while participating in a modern distraction. Instead, she was being tailgated by an aggressive driver with the intent to kill.
Thomas appeared to have his high beams on and wanted to stop Emma from reaching Hope. If she had, Emma would have told the woman who was still married to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) at that point in the plot about baby Beth Spencer (now played by Jordyn Lynn Ariza). That would have been curtains for Thomas.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Curtain Drops On Xander Avant’s Friend
Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) were wrongfully fired by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). The abomination is that he knew, after the fact, what Thomas did to Emma.
While Thomas did not admit to intentionally trying to kill her, Ridge blocked any investigation by telling his son never to speak about what happened. Kaye’s character also broke the law and has escaped scrutiny to date.
Emma had a romantic relationship with Xander, who was once involved with Zoe. Thomas threatened that trio and Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) not to tell Hope and Liam the truth about Beth. She was believed to be a baby who Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) adopted and named Phoebe. Flo played the faux mother in that ruse.
Steffy’s relay of the information Xander passed to John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is something Thomas is forced to deal with at long last.

While Ridge helped keep the facts of this incident hidden, Finn felt compelled to tell the now-Hope Logan what he learned. Noelle’s character was told Xander believes Thomas murdered Emma.
Murder is not an accurate legal term. In reality, Thomas forcibly caused Emma to crash and then did not seek to help her after that happened and did not seek emergency help.
So, whatever charges could have been brought were not. But momentum is moving hard against Thomas. He seems likelier than ever to finally face questioning about Emma’s death on B&B.
