Has Carter truly found the love of his life? That’s what a lot of ‘The ‘Bold and the Beautiful‘ fans can’t help but wonder as it looks like things are rolling full steam ahead between him and Katie Logan. It’s about time, seeing how he’s had so many failed relationships in the past. At least, that’s what the character’s portrayer Lawrence Saint-Victor is hoping for! Here’s what he has to say.
Lawrence is really hoping that Carter goes the distance with Katie Logan. He hasn’t felt like this before about a woman ever since Quinn Forrester broke his heart and left Los Angeles late last year.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Lawrence Saint-Victor Hints What’s Next For Carter And Katie
“I think this is Carter’s first mature relationship,” Lawrence said while on The Talk this week. “Before, he was either fighting to keep someone or it was forbidden. But here you have two mature adults who have this emotional connection and there’s no drama as far as… nothing keeping them apart. So we’ll see. We’ll see how it works.”
What’s more, Lawrence also added that he’s grateful that The Bold and the Beautiful Executive Producer Bradley Bell has taken him under his wing and added him to the soap’s writing team.
“We hit it off from the first day we met just talking about story,” the actor said. “And I’ve been a fan of B&B since I was a child. My aunt would put it on. She’d shut off the cartons and say, ‘We’re watching B&B.’ So we hit it off. And he invited me into the writers room. He invited me in and he has nurtured me and has been a wonderful mentor. And I get to play on both sides. It’s been great.”
Here’s hoping that Carter does end up with the woman of his dreams – even if she isn’t Katie Logan at the end of the day.
