‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) has the strong desire to get his parents back together again. Will he succeed at convincing Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) to commit to more with Thomas Forrester (Matt Atkinson)?
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Sensing the Feelings
Douglas knows that his mother is sad. He expresses his concern for her over the sadness that she has that her marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is over. He really wants his mother to be happy and he cares about her.
He also really wants his parents to be together again. He wants them to be a family. There was a lot of tension between the two of them and Thomas did not always make the best choices for his son.
In fact, several times he has used Douglas to try to hurt someone else. This has put Douglas in difficult positions. But Thomas says he has changed. He has gone to therapy and has done the hard work to turn his life around. Douglas says he does think his father is different. He believes in him.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: But Not All of the Feelings
Even though Douglas can sense his mother’s sadness and his father’s change, he has not sensed the chemistry between them. They have been together more than once, but Hope has told Thomas categorically that she just wants the sex. She isn’t in love with him.
When Douglas suggests that they get back together again as a family, there seems to be some awkwardness between them. That is especially true for Hope. Yes, she may be mourning her marriage, but she is also having a good time with Thomas.
Thomas saves Hope some embarrassment by telling Douglas that they need not put any pressure on Hope. She still has a lot of things she is dealing with, and they just need to give her space.
