This is Finnegan’s first role on daytime television, but not his first acting job. The bright young star has had roles on hit primetime shows such as Modern Family, Son of Zorn and The Affair. The young actor took over the role as Will back in August of 2018. The previous child actor was Zane Achor, who is actually Heather Tom’s real life son with her partner, James Achor.

While Heather loved working on set with her son on The Bold and the Beautiful, she didn’t think it was suitable for him to continue working in the entertainment industry. That’s why both she and her husband James made the decision to pull him out of the show.
“He’ll be in kindergarten and missing days,” Heather Tom explained on twitter late last year, when a fan asked about Zane. “Want him to be a normal kid. I was lucky. But it’s a weird childhood.”
After all, if there is one person who knows all of the pros and cons of being a child actor, it’s Heather. She made her The Bold and the Beautiful debut when she was just 15. While she has definitely had a lot of success in her career, Heather wants her children to make their own decisions about what they want to pursue later on in life. Talk about a great, level-headed ‘stage mom’ right?
