‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that forgiving a man who allowed you to believe your daughter was dead when she wasn’t is incredible. Developing romantic feelings for that guy a handful of years later is mind-blowing.
But will Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) rationalize Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) being complicit in the death of Emma Barber (Nia Sioux)?
The question raised is the endgame because Thomas was indirectly involved in Emma’s car going over the cliff on Mulholland Drive. So, if Hope learns the entire story, she would be shaken but might not cut him off. That will happen if her love for him is deep, rather than just being involved because she is on a rebound from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Where is the evidence to support Xander’s revived claim?
Thomas wanted to stop Emma from telling Hope that Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) was alive, and he knew it. While his actions were spurned by fear of Hope learning the truth, Thomas appeared to want to catch Emma and talk her out of relaying what she had learned.
However, Thomas was not a good Samaritan after the crash happened. He exited his car, looked down the cliff, saw Emma’s car, and snickered with satisfaction.
Unless the amazing happens and Emma is shown to have survived the crash, Sioux’s character is the tragic victim. Thomas could be charged with negligence if a witness can put him at or near the scene.

Xander Avant checked Thomas’ GPS and determined he was at the crash scene. But Atkinson’s character erased that evidence shortly after that.
Sure, that information could be retrieved in a soapy world. But if that unrealistic outcome is not presented as evidence, something or someone else needs to be offered.
Thomas is counting on no one being present on that roadway while chasing Emma. But his state of mind had him solely focused on her and not the setting. So, this history could be revisited and create a significant legal problem for Thomas.

However, there are other ways that justice could be had for Emma. One of them could have Thomas admit the truth to Hope. She has a unique effect on him that no one else does.
But Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) can never be ruled out. That truth-teller’s bravery is epic. He could overhear his dad talking with Ridge. If so, the party would be over for Thomas on B&B.
