‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers for January 3rd: Liam’s Fatal Miscalculation

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers for January 3rd 2019 indicate that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is in for some bad news. Looks like his plot to nail Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is crumbling because Thomas has already managed to get through their first line of defense – Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). He convinced Steffy Forrester (Jacquelline MacInnnes Wood) to rehire her thinking that she would be a team player, but nope. Not so. Not on your life. Thomas has managed to get Zoe to his side by inviting her to the family Christmas party and then making love to her, royally pulling out all the stops. Thomas has even said that he wants Zoe to model the gowns for the Hope for the Future line, which tells Zoe that he is over Hope and totally into her.

Liam is not buying one single bit of it however and is pretty ticked off about losing his secret weapon. Zoe of course wants Liam to back off and see Thomas’s good intentions for what they truly are but Liam will adamantly refuse. He doesn’t think that Thomas couldn’t possibly have any good in him. But it looks like Thomas could confess his true intentions to a surprising someone.

I don’t know what it is about Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) that seems to make the Forrester men open up but Thomas will confess to Shauna that all of this with Zoe is indeed an act. He even tells her that his final goal in the end would be to win Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) heart. Shauna points out that she should tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) of these developments because he deserves to know just what his son is about.

Thomas doesn’t know that he’s playing with fire by making this confession to Shauna He thinks that she has just as much, if not more, to lose than he does by letting his true intentions be known. He will therefore buy a little insurance by telling Shauna that just like he is fighting for Hope, she should fight for Ridge and that unlike Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) she is good for his Dad and if she spills the beans on him that she will be ruining her only chance with Ridge.

Sure, she may choose to follow Thomas’s advice for now but that’ll be just until what she decides to do next. Thomas left a very valuable playing card in Shauna’s hand and if she plays it against him to Daddy he could stand to lose all. But will she play nice and see things Thomas’s way, or has Thomas just brought down the entire house on his own head? Stay tuned!!!
