‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) dire health diagnosis was shelved during Thanksgiving week. But the countdown on his time remaining on this earth will soon produce drama.
Teasers indicate that Eric’s condition will worsen as November yawns and December awakens. Viewers have not been clued into the details of the terminal condition that Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) diagnosed.
It feels purposeful that the fans have not been told what Eric and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) learned earlier this fall. But keeping the audience in the dark initially allows for this storyline to be open-ended, meaning that a reversal can be realized.

Soap-time can be bent. But Eric has approximately until the spring of next year to either live out his days, extend a life that could still be slated to end in the relatively near future or be cured.
If Eric has some form of cancer, depending upon what it is, remission could become a solution. If McCook’s legendary character has a rare disease, then experimental treatments could be attempted. Why would he refuse to do so with nothing to lose.
John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is the lead doctor on this show. He and potentially his mother, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), could join the team that Dr. Colby is the only current member of.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Zende Forrester Dominguez Should Know
Why is Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) being kept in the dark about his grandfather’s condition? It makes no sense, except for being part of a side storyline where de Metz’ character turns against the Forresters.
An ominous scene happened when Zende appeared to set his romantic sights on Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). He did so because of a perceived slight by Eric when choosing RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) to be part of the fashion showdown with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
A contrived situation, where Ridge continues to argue against Zende being told the truth about Eric because McCook’s character wants his privacy protected, does not hold weight. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) knows, which makes sense. But Katie Logan (Heather Tom) being in the know and Ridge still justifying Zende not being told will not be explainable when he does eventually learn the truth.

One of this show’s great traditions has included many Christmas shows where Eric regales his family with holiday standards. Those warm shows reinforce the message of the season, including Eric’s belief in the importance of putting family first.
But it is reasonable to speculate that this year’s anticipate annual piano event in the Forrester mansion’s living room might not happen. Eric needed RJ to draw, with Zende not knowing the real reason behind that selection.
Eric’s hand tremors have not dissipated, and his general health is imperiled. So, it seems unlikely that he will be physically able to play this Christmas unless a dramatic change happens leading into the holiday on B&B.
