Having successfully completed his grand finale collection to secure his legacy, Eric faces a limited time frame due to Dr. Colin Colby’s ominous prognosis of six months or less to live.
The thought of leaving Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) behind, especially since they recently reunited, weighs heavily on Eric.
Donna has been consistently supportive and affectionate throughout this challenging period, intensifying Eric’s concern for her well-being. He is determined not to leave Donna heartbroken and alone.
In light of his grim outlook, Eric may choose to offer Donna a heartfelt marriage proposal, aiming to rekindle their love and exchange vows once more before time runs out. Eric might plan an elaborate and romantic proposal to sweep Donna off her feet.

Considering Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) already have a wedding in the works, there is a possibility that Eric and Donna might share their special day with the other couple in a double wedding, a recurring theme in soap operas.
Alternatively, Eric and Donna may opt for a private and intimate ceremony exclusively for themselves. In either scenario, Eric could propose to Donna, expressing his desire to make her his wife once again, before facing his uncertain fate.
It would create an incredible emotional storyline, and we’re not sure if we would be able to make it all the way through with a dry eye.
Watching Eric and Donna get married at the last minute and watching the Forrester patriarch pass away would be terribly hard to watch, but beautiful at the same time.
