‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers show that the show still has some work to do before rebuilding Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). When it came to character reset, Liam’s confession in a recent episode felt like a good place to start.
Though Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) redemption has received a lot of attention on the program, Liam deserves a redemption tale!
Liam may not have lost his mind nearly as much as Thomas did, but he has nonetheless caused harm. Liam’s constant switching between Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) throughout the years was a terrible choice for the show.
We all knew that Liam could easily switch to Steffy the moment things became difficult, therefore it was difficult to support Liam being with Hope. Hope was naturally drawn to Thomas’s dedication since she deserved better than that.

Liam’s broken heart is obviously not what Steffy deserves either. Why on earth would Steffy ever want to get back together with a heartbreaker like Liam when she has met a faithful partner in John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan)?
It’s time for a new beginning since Liam’s character has been so thoroughly damaged by the program that he is no longer a viable love interest.
It was good to see Liam admit that he is “guilty as charged” about the evasive charges since he has deserved everything the criticism he has gotten online.
Liam admitted to Steffy that he wasn’t the sort of guy he would want for Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) or Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) when they were old enough after telling her that he had been doing some introspection and challenging himself with some tough questions.
As his girls become older, Liam has to provide a better example for them. Something has to change because Beth and Kelly could begin to believe that it’s OK to allow a guy treat you like you might be easily sold for a backup girlfriend.
