Eric’s later attacks, which Dr. Colby believes may have been mini strokes, have been followed by increasing episodes of Hemoptysis. Coughing up blood is a terrifying symptom that indicates the end is nearing.

The perceived success in the fashion challenge has led Eric to believe he has time to further his legacy. Promoting what he calls his final collection means barreling ahead with unbridled abandon.
That outlook also led Eric to collapse on the fabled Forrester mansion living room floor. His classic oil-based painted image surveyed the scene while the physical Eric was lying on the floor, appearing to be dead.
Thankfully, Donna was with Eric when he collapsed and can help get him the immediate medical attention he needs. But his life remains fragile.

Finn’s love for Steffy is unquestioned. His loyalty to her and the Foresters is also particular and is affirmed by his recent rebuke of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
While Novlan’s character is attempting to avoid contact with his birth mother, his mind appears to be working. So, will the writing staff have Finn discover a solution for Eric’s unrevealed ailment?
Audience members who respect McCook and do not want to see him leave the show hope for a positive resolution to this major conflict. Plus, having Eric and all connected characters in distress heading into the Christmas season is unsettling. Possibly, hope will soon be at hand on B&B.
