‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers show that Eric Forrester (John McCook) has been struggling with an unknown illness and is fully expecting himself to die. However, before the final moment happens, he wants to have one big celebration with all of his friends and family.
Of course, this is taking quite a toll on Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom). While some think it’s quite an emotional storyline and way to see McCook out of the role, others are beginning to turn on the beloved character and writers of the show as they drag out the storyline and make it nearly unwatchable.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’s official Instagram shared the clip of Eric telling Donna and Katie his idea, and the comments are probably not what you would expect to see.

Fans wrote on the post, “Wrap up this storyline before Christmas, it’s boring.”, “And he’s telling this to the Logan women?! Ugh! I’m so over Eric. He treats those women better than his own daughters and granddaughters. Go Away!”, “I’m so sick of his ego!
This story line is ridiculous.”, “Sorry, but this is dragging on. I heard he signed a new contract. No one knows what’s wrong with him. I feel the worst for poor Donna.

It’s not unusual for viewers to comment about how long a storyline is dragging on, but to see it about such a beloved character and icon of the show is a bit strange and out of the norm.
