One of these stars is the beautiful and talented, Linsey Godfrey who played Caroline Spencer on the Bold and the Beautiful. She was dressed in a gorgeous red gown and posted quite a few pictures of her and her boyfriend, Breckin Meyer. All she wanted to do is show off her amazing dress and her handsome love. Is that too much to ask? According to a lot of people on Instagram, it is.

Godfrey posted one picture in particular that got a lot of negative comments. The picture is of her and Meyer all dressed up for the Daytime Emmy Awards. Of course, she looks fabulous, but she actually had to take the picture down because of what followers were saying about it. She actually ended up putting it back up and making her point known to all of those haters who made snide comments.

The picture in question was met with a lot of comments about how Godfrey’s abs sticking out in the dress made her look pregnant. She stated on her Instagram, “Sometimes abs lay flat, sometimes they stick out, the other lines to the side are my hip bones. Asking a woman if she’s pregnant, which I am definitely not, is beyond rude and honestly stupid. The lighting in this pic isn’t the best, but I loved these photos of me and the love of my life sharing in a special moment together, but I ended up taking them down because of the comments and how people made me feel.”
Godfrey feels that by telling these so-called fans that people can be hurt by words, even on social media. She is aware that people like to talk a lot online, but she feels that they wouldn’t say it to her face if they were given the chance. She is very happy with the way her body looks and she feels great in her own skin. She is happy in life and in love and feels that people should quit with the body shaming online. She mentioned to our sources that she knows other actresses have mentioned body shaming before and she wants all of her devoted fans to know that she will continue to be an advocate for women who are being body shamed.
