Zac Clark has opened up on how his relationship with Tayshia Adams has not always been that rosy.

‘The Bachelorette’: Zac Clark Opens Up On His Relationship Difficulties With Tayshia Adams

The duo have continuously had to deny rumours that they had split. And as for Zac, he could understand why people would behave that way. In an interview with Us Weekly, he said: “Naturally, it’s for all the reasons that people say it shouldn’t work. Because it’s so quick and all that stuff. And I hear that. There’s also a lot of reasons why, for me, it does work.”

But in fact, their relationship has only become stronger. Zac has gotten over his substance abuse issues, and Tayshia is doing well in her own right. The latter is taking over Chris Harrison’s role on The Bachelorette, and the fans have really taken to her. Zac has been there throughout that journey, as he was seen on set supporting Tayshia during the filming.

It seems the couple have learnt to support each other. He added: “Cause you put the cell phone down, there’s no distractions, your conversations are very, like, pointed and structured and you really give yourself — like, for me, I gave myself that opportunity to kind of really explore what love was and what this relationship could be.”

The rumours that had blighted the couple went to a whole new level, though. Speculation was rife that the duo had split after Tayshia was spotted without her ring. Naturally, rather than wait for an explanation, fans spiralled out of control and assumed the worst. And yet, it was something simpler as Tayshia was merely getting her ring adjusted. For Zac, he has learned to take the rough with the smooth.

He continued: “And at the end of the day, none of that other stuff really, truly matters. I think you need to be aware, and I think you need to acknowledge that it could be difficult … but no, that’s why we have each other to support us through those difficult times.” It is great to see Zac in a much better place.

He has come a long way since his addiction, and let us hope that this can continue into the future.
