Taking the decision to propose and get engaged is not something that should be taken likely. So when Tino decided to do it, the fans were convinced that the couple were serious. And yet, shortly after doing so, Tino revealed that he cheated on Rachel, much to the shock of everyone.
In his comments, he said: “I messed up, and I kissed another girl. The second I did, I knew I belonged with you, and this was the tiniest thing ever, so I just tried to … get past it.”
This begs the question: who was the person that Tino kissed? Well, he expanded on how it was somebody he had met prior to the franchise airing. But in order to downplay the seriousness of it all, he tried to reassure Rachel by stating that they did not go on a date.
That was not enough to quell her worries, as she did not believe that he only kissed one woman. So with the conversation seemingly going nowhere, Rachel decided that enough was enough as she took her ring off.
Once the dust had settled, both had a lot to say. Tino added: “You were amazing, and you didn’t deserve what I did,” to which Rachel replied: “You broke my heart, inexcusable.”
The fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter. A significant proportion of people bashed Tino for his conduct. And in the process of doing so, they made some very derogatory comments about him.
One person wrote: “Oh Rachel girl how could you fall for him ? He’s so emotionless and no reaction at all when you said he was last one there. Ugh he seriously gives me creeper vibes . His words are so scripted and not any emotion at all.”
