    Tayshia Adams And Kaitlyn Bristowe

Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe have revealed that they would be open to staying on as hosts for another season of The Bachelorette.

The duo were thrown into the deep end, with the sudden departure of Chris Harrison. While it was hoped that the latter had taken a momentarily break, his permanent exit was confirmed just when a comeback was mooted. That has presented Tayshia and Kaitlyn with an opportunity of a lifetime.

During an interview with Us Weekly, the duo confirmed that they would love to continue their roles. Kaitlyn said: “I mean, we had so much fun,” to which Tayshia replied: “[We had] so much fun, and if the opportunity presented itself, we would be there.” But it is not going to be as simple as they may think. First of all, David Spade has been confirmed as a celebrity host on Bachelor in Paradise.

And given how that revamp plays out, the producers may adopt a similar approach to this show. Not only that, there are other candidates who could do a job. JoJo Fletcher has been touted as a possible replacement, so the floor is open to anyone. And yet, out of all those mentioned, Tayshia and Kaitlyn have the strongest case.

They have dealt with the departure of Chris really well and managed to complete filming without any drama. Not only that, if they managed to do it the first time under all that pressure, then surely doing it again is going to be much easier. But in doing so, they will have to win over some of the fanbase. A large majority of fans have been vocal about how they will boycott the show following Chris’ departure.

This caused one of the franchise’s former stars to urge fans to have faith. In a prior interview with Us Weekly, Mike Johnson  said: “For the fans that adore Chris, the fans that adore the show and the fans that are annoyed, I just want to simply say that change can be good. You know, we must grow, we must evolve.”

Time will tell who will secure the job. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish. Please also visit TVRocker for all of the latest exciting news on all of your favourite daytime television soaps.
