Katie Thurston has revealed that she has been left feeling lonely amid her fiancé Blake Moynes’ decision to work in Africa.

The pair, who had gotten engaged on the season finale of the show, have been navigating some major hurdles in their relationship already.
Not only is Blake working in another country, but given that he is Canadian and Katie is American, they have had to work with the ever-changing visa rules. That is why Katie has turned to her fans for some support as she continues to miss Blake.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, she said: “The biggest thank you to everyone who hung out last night on the live! It can feel lonely moving to a new state.
“And last night truly felt like a hangout in my living room with you all virtually.” And given that Katie is in a new place by herself, the absence of Blake has started to take a toll on her health.
It is only natural as she has been with him ever since they got together. In this way, she admitted that she has had problems in trying to relax. She added: “I’ve had trouble sleeping lately.
“This morning was the first time I woke up after getting a solid eight hours of rest. … I’m still trying to navigate this new life and city while seeking normalcy.”
Although Katie may be going through some troubles, Blake could not be any happier with how things are going for him in Africa. His work is something he is very passionate about, and in wildlife conservation, Africa is the place to be.
In a series of posts on Instagram, we can see Blake soaking in the atmosphere as he gets ready for trekking. The post was captioned with the following comments: “I joined the @biglifeafrica Ranger Club to support them and help them protect OUR wildlife and wild lands throughout the year.
“You should consider this too.” Let us hope that the duo are reunited soon. Things are clearly difficult, and Katie could do with some company very soon.
