Katie, for her part, admitted that when she was growing up, she saw herself becoming a vet. While that did not go to plan, particularly given that she went on to become a bank manager, Blake has managed to rekindle a passion that was seemingly lost.
It is true to say that Katie is a cat lover, as evidenced by her social media pictures, but the couple have made it a commitment to get more involved in animal-friendly projects. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Katie shared a picture of herself feeding a giraffe.
The post was captioned with the following comments: “I wanted to be a veterinarian. I was accepted into WSU but chose to start with community college… Like many plans, they never go as expected….Today, I am now engaged to a man who shares the same passion for animals.”
This enthusiasm was seen in the following post here. Blake shared a picture of Katie lying in bed with their dog. Her smile could not be any bigger, as she is having a great time. In the clip, she is heard saying: “I don’t want it. I don’t want your bone. Take that back.” So with their commitment to animals, what can we expect them to do?
Taking a look at Blake’s social media gives us a hint. He has a huge passion for wildlife conservation, as shown in this video that he posted. That is where Katie and Blake will be looking to make a difference.
And her following comments confirmed as much: “Today, I am now engaged to a man who shares the same passion for animals, and together, we can really make an impact. I’m excited for the upcoming projects we have planned and can’t wait to share with you all!” It is wonderful to see the couple having such a strong, shared passion.
