‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers reveal that Kenny King has come out and commended Rachel Lindsay for the stance that she took in the Chris Harrison scandal. Rachel has ,since then, received abuse on social media, which led her to leave Instagram.

In an interview on Entertainment Tonight, Kenny spoke on how he held Rachel in high regard. He said: “I had nothing but the utmost respect for Rachel. I thought many times about what it must have been like for Rachel, what she must have went through, being the very first Black Bachelorette.” He then went on to reveal how she took a brave step in speaking out, given that she was the first black bachelorette.
This paved the way for others to join the show and most notably Matt James. He has, in his own right, been a success on the show, which could initially be attributed to Rachel. But through it all, Rachel has stayed humble. He added: “Still be genuine. Still be thoroughly Rachel.
“Still stand on her square and her morals and find who she wanted to love despite, I’m sure, the pressure that she felt that she had to find a Black man on that show.” Kenny has also lamented the abuse that Rachel received and could not understand why such a thing would occur, given that she was consistent and honest with her stance.
He continued: “She stood with, you know, who she wanted to be with and I have nothing but respect for her for that. It is unfortunate that she has received the amount of negative reaction to feel like you have to deactivate Instagram.” Rachel has sought to leave the past behind and publicly revealed that she has forgiven Chris.
During an interview with Extra, Lindsay said: “I do accept the apology. And I think it’s important for me to say that because I haven’t really talked about, you know, Chris and the statement because I’m not trying to make this a Chris vs Rachel. We need to move forward. And for me, for us to move forward, I need to accept the apology.”
