Sarah, for her part, has not hidden the struggles she has gone through in trying for a baby. She suffers from diminished ovarian reserve syndrome, which has made it very difficult for her to conceive and led to fertility issues. While there is the option of adoption available, the prospect of giving birth herself has no doubt influenced this decision.

During an interview on the ‘Bachelor Happy Hour’ podcast, Sarah revealed how she was entering the world of the unknown. She said: “I’m so excited and nervous and don’t know what to expect.” Sarah’s desire to have children has only been made stronger following her recent engagement with Dylan.

She was very vocal about how Dylan had stood by her during the course of her pregnancy setbacks, in addition to him accepting her for who she was. This was most evident during the engagement proposal. In the video here, Dylan is seen getting down on one knee with Sarah looking excited. In the backdrop, we can see the continuous stream of water as Sarah accepts the proposal.

To top it all off, the pair kiss and end up sharing a drink as they boat ride off into the sunset. That experience made her know it was the right time to have children. She stated: “I’d wait a lifetime all over again…to end up with this person. We make each other better…and we’re going to become parents together.”

And she will need all the support that she can get. Sarah suffers from amniotic band syndrome. This led to her being born with one arm. Naturally, such a thing is not going to make it any easier for her to look after a potential child.

That is why she is bracing for herself for the ultimate struggle that could end up coming her way. She noted: “Is it going to be really intense for me emotionally, mentally, physically? I think I’m just, like, ‘What’s this going to do to my brain?”
