Former lead of ‘The Bachelor’ Clayton Echard has admitted that he is not ready to go back into the dating world.

The star recently broke up from his ex Susie Evans after they had gotten together in the aftermath of the show. But that romance had been clouded by controversy in the first place.
Susie became disillusioned when she discovered that Clayton had been intimate with two other contestants, Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey. While they managed to resolve that issue, things broke down after six months of dating as they went their separate ways in September this year.
With that being said, Clayton has no immediate plans of jumping back into the dating world. In an interview with E! News, he said: “I’m not looking to date right now. I’m not mentally healed.
“I can’t even fathom seeing anybody in that light right now. And so, I think I’m really just taking this time to focus on myself. … If I’m not healed, then I can’t allow anybody else to be a part of my life.”
This is entirely understandable since the split is very fresh in the memory. In addition, there is always a possibility that a reconciliation could occur, especially due to the recent break up. We have already seen this with other couples such as Clare Crawley and Dale Moss, as they did reconcile even if they separated once again.
The fans on social media were not surprised by Clayton’s comments. A significant proportion of the fan base made it absolutely clear that it was too early for him to be considering anybody else. One person wrote: “Well duh, it hasn’t even been a month!”
