Catherine Giudici has expressed her longing for Chris Harrison to make a return to The Bachelor franchise as a host.

Chris, for his part, walked away from the show in the aftermath of the criticism he received following his response to the Rachael Kirkconnell scandal. While Tayshia Adams has taken over alongside Kaitlyn Bristowe on The Bachelorette, things are simply not the same. In an interview with Us Weekly, Catherine stated she was dying to see him back.
She revealed: “I want to see him come back…I hope he does because I know so many Bachelor fans out there rely on him to be the voice of The Bachelor.” Of course, any return is going to be based on certain conditions. However, by the sounds of it, Chris has already put in the groundwork. Immediately after the backlash had emerged, he came out with an official apology.
Not only that, he walked away from the show that he had given over a decade too. Such a thing was not an easy choice. He should be further applauded, given Chris decided to come on set to aid Tayshia and Kaitlyn. There was no obligation for him to do that, but then again, would Chris want to come back? Regardless, he should be offered a second chance.
Catherine added: “If we’re giving him the time that he’s asking for to reflect on certain things, I think it’s only fair that we kind of say, ‘OK, you did your work and thank you for doing your work.” That is not to say that Catherine has reservations about Tayshia and Kaitlynn. The duo are seen as short-term replacements. Nevertheless, they should be commended because they decided to walk into the mammoth task of replacing Chris.
Although their time on set has been challenging, Catherine is looking forward to seeing how they will perform. She continued: “I think it will be exciting. I’m curious because Chris has been there for since the beginning. So, I’m curious what kind of energy they bring.” Time will tell whether Chris makes a return, but in the meantime, fans can continue to dream.
