Ashley Spivey has finally revealed the news that her fans have been waiting for, as she confirmed she is pregnant.

The former star of The Bachelor has been vocal about the hardships she has experienced in the past over her numerous miscarriages. But this news may finally put that to bed. In a post to her fans on Instagram, we can see a picture of an ultrasound scan. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Plot twist. As y’all all know, I just went through the IVF process.
“And we had decided to freeze the embryos to give my body a little more time to rest. We planned on transferring in May, but I should have known, as with many parts of my life — if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.” And yet, it is still a little too early to get excited. Ashley has suffered from a total of five miscarriages in the past.
While the signs do look promising here, there is a chance that the pregnancy could go wrong. After all, she has suffered from fertility issues. She added: “I don’t want to have to stay silent about it because of taboos or a fear of jinxing it. I’m scared, and I’m nervous, but I’m also overjoyed.”
And history tells us that we should be wary. Ashley had the painful experience of losing her son CJ at the back end of last year. In what should have been a moment of happiness, all that she was left with was an urn containing her baby’s ashes. In a prior post to her fans on Instagram, she said: “Instead of bringing our boy home today.
“We brought him home early in December in this beautiful urn. Every morning I hold him close to me and wish that things were different. That my heart wasn’t broken into a million pieces.” While it is a truly tragic thing to lose a child, Ashley can hopefully achieve her dream of being a mother. Fingers crossed that the pregnancy goes well, and her fans will be there every step of the way to make sure she is ok.
