They took to the show’s Instagram to ask about the future of this series. According to replies from people running the account, we’re not seeing the end of this show yet. They said this is only the first season, so we should be able to expect more in the future, once shows are filming again. We’re glad to hear it, yet somewhat cautious. They said the same thing about El Final del Paraíso, and we saw how that worked out.

With that out of the way, let’s get into Amalia’s latest disaster. Her sister, Mariana Ortega (Johanna Fadul) is El Guapo’s hostage, and on Friday, he made his move. Amalia learned he was holding her, and El Guapo made sure Mariana wasn’t able to do much of anything. One of his men injected her with drugs, of which she’s already addicted to. With her detoxing recently, it’s having a bad effect on her. Amalia was frantic, because El Guapo is making this very personal. He thinks she’s the one to blame for his family’s death. So, what now?

As has happened a few times this season, things didn’t go as they planned. They launched an operation to rescue Mariana, but it ultimately failed. Gabriel Pedraza (Mark Tacher) had to talk Amalia down and convince her to leave with him when Mariana was too out of it to walk. They were in a no-win situation, and he saw it as the only option. Plus, he believes El Guapo won’t kill Mariana. He needs her.
Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate that Amalia obviously started beating herself up over listening to him. Her sister’s in danger and it’s because of her. But, Pedraza has been a big source of support, and we’re sure he’ll keep her balanced over the rest of the season, and what might come later. We do see this ending on a massive cliffhanger, so be ready for some big developments coming.
