Telemundo La suerte de Loli indicate we’re feeling a bit of déjà vu after watching the latest episode. Let’s take a look at the latest and how it’s feeling familiar. We’ll also get into why we’re not feeling a certain character as much anymore.
Telemundo La Suerte de Loli: The situation
First, La suerte de Loli spoilers reveal there are two people going through a similar situation. Dolores “Loli” Aguilar Balderas (Silvia Navarro) and Octavio Córdoba (Joaquín Ferreira) both started the show as single people devoted to their work who didn’t want anything to do with children.
However, Loli was suddenly the guardian of her friend’s kids after her death and Octavio met a troubled teen he wants to help. This is after thinking Nicolás “Nicky” Torres (Diego Escalona) was his son for a bit, a kid maintains a relationship with.
Then, he was found by someone who really did get a sperm donation from him, which leaves him with a real son.
Both of them are also currently in relationships (or the beginning of one) and fighting for custody. Loli is forced to defend her rights after the kids’ uncle, while Octavio is trying to adopt the teen we mentioned, as well as his sister. There’s just one problem.
Telemundo La Suerte de Loli: Complications
Loli, for one, has a couple of problems. La suerte de Loli spoilers reveal she’s got rival Paulina Castro de Contreras (Gaby Espino) making comments about her to the social worker in charge of the kids’ case. Also, Nicky recently had an incident while Loli was out of town.
The little guy was suffering a stomach ache and decided to get some medicine himself instead of asking his abuela, who also lives with them. This left him needing his stomach pumped and a brief stay in the hospital, which Bruno Tadeo Torres Tovar (Rodrigo Vidal) is jumping on as an argument in his favor.
We can’t. Bruno is weak and had nothing to do with those kids all this time. And Melissa Quintero de Torres (Mariana Seoane) is part of the reason for that. We think he’s been letting himself get led around too much by others, because there’s no way he should be asking for custody—which we think is partly motivated by the inheritance coming to the kids.
Not only that, but he can barely support him, Melissa, and their daughter as it is. Complicating things is Melissa is expecting triplets, and they’re housing her father’s mistress and Melissa’s half-sister. Plus? Samantha “Sam” Torres (Dalexa Meneses) doesn’t like their daughter, Carol Torres Quintero (Liz Dieppa). It’s a bad idea all around.
As for Octavio, he’s a single guy who runs a strip club. He’d already been denied as a foster parent, so his prospects aren’t good. But both he and Loli have been given a solution to their problems. And it’s sounding very familiar.
Telemundo La Suerte de Loli: Wedding time?
First, Octavio was advised by the lawyer helping him to get married. He believes it’s Octavio’s best chance to get the kids and save them from being separated when one is sent to a family across the country.
Loli got the same advice from her social worker, surprisingly enough. We guess so many people coming to Loli’s defense after Nicky’s incident swayed her a bit. Either that, or Loli’s being set up. Either way, this reminds us of General Hospital.
Before the TV shut down, Michale Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) were each fighting for sole custody of their son, Wiley. Michael was advised to get married by his lawyer, and Nelle ended up doing the same when she heard Michael was getting married.
They were SO obvious, and we can’t believe the judge didn’t laugh them both out of court. Of course, Loli and Octavio have an advantage, as they’re both seeing people who’d likely be seen as a proper fit for a kid.
We’ll have to wait and see if they go along with the plan, and if it actually works. The judge with Loli has been pretty tough at times, so it’s possible this might be taken as a ploy and work against her.
