Telemundo La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal good help can be hard to find. Sure, it’s not always the person’s fault. However, we’re seeing Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo) stuck in a pattern Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita) might not like. Meanwhile, we got another glimpse into the past of César “Batman” Güemes (Alejandro Calva) that made us feel for him. Here’s what you need to know, as well as what’s ahead.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Complications

First, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Teresa’s tasks have never been easy. In season two, she had to infiltrate a cartel to take down its leader. That would stop the funding for Epifanio’s competition and help him win the presidency. This season, she’s taking on the DEA. And just like last time, her task is being made more complicated by the day.

First, she got a call from Paloma Aljarafe (Agata Clares). Teresa learned likely DEA agents had attacked Paloma’s home in search of Sofia Dantes (Isabella Sierra). Teresa and the team, as usual, jumped into action to help. Now, one of her team, Jonathan Peres (Tiago Correa) needs help after being captured. We’ll see her and Oleg Yosikov (Antonio Gil) doing their best to rescue him. We’ll see if they can pull it off, as well as whether the ruse that hid Sofia’s location was successful.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Filling in the blanks

Elsewhere, we know Batman has been missing his homeland. Now, we know why he was in Colombia to begin with. See, he’d had proof Epifanio was involved in the murder of his wife and kids. He was ready to use that proof last season, but Teresa and the rest talked him out of it. The greater good and all that.

But apparently in the years since, Epifanio found out what Batman had on him and took action. And it appears he and Sheila (Cuca Escribano) were only spared on the condition they leave the country. Batman’s new mission is to return to his homeland, and he thinks helping Teresa with what Epifanio tasked her with will earn forgiveness. We aren’t so sure.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Tonight

So, what’s next? It seems Sofia will be on the lookout for Mateo Mena (Anderley Palomino), the guy who helped her when she was attacked by a bunch of crooks. He’ll be helping her learn baseball when they’re attacked again. And she’ll be determined to find out exactly who these people are.
