Telemundo La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo) had a close call last time. And we’re pretty sure it won’t be the last. Meanwhile, the drama between her and Oleg Yosikov (Antonio Gil) continues. Let’s take a look at some highlights and what’s next.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Catching up

First, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Teresa made a lot of progress since she left that hotel. She got the second key with the help of her team. Plus, she managed to get the other Horseman agree to give her the other key—for a price. We also saw Genoveva Alcalá (Kika Edgar) doing her best to get her revenge on Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita). The problem is, it seems Epifanio has learned a few things after the last time. He’s already suspicious of another leak. So, we can’t help but worry that Genoveva might have taken on more than she realizes.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Honesty

Elsewhere, recent episodes have made it clear Oleg has feelings for Teresa and he isn’t sure if he can just be friends anymore. This subject came up again between them, and Teresa once more claimed she wanted him as a friend and nothing more. So, this is clearly putting a strain between them. And it looks like after the mission is over, Oleg will be getting far away from it all—including Teresa.

Honestly, we think Teresa is making a huge mistake. While Pablo Landero (Pêpê Rapazote) seems like a decent enough guy, we still don’t fully trust him. Plus, that bond between her and Oleg is so obvious we think it’s one of those things that they can’t—and shouldn’t—fight forever. We honestly feel he’d be good for Teresa and give her the loyalty and stability she hasn’t gotten from the other guys we’ve seen. God knows he’s already sacrificed a ton to help her. Plus, he clearly cares about her daughter, Sofia Dantes (Isabella Sierra).

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: MVPs

In other news, we have to give a shout-out to the once and future MVP of this whole thing, Fedor Yasikov (Víctor Rebull). His quick action and attention to details allowed him and Sheila (Cuca Escribano) to escape the hotel with the key and IDs before the DEA caught them.

La Reina del Sur spoilers: What’s ahead

As for tonight, it’s going to be a big one. La Reina del Sur spoilers indicate Teresa and her team have the three keys in their possession, and must crack the puzzle. The symbols give a clue corresponding with an ancient Greek numeration system related to the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Given this show has a bit to go yet, we’re pretty sure they’re not going to find that evidence just yet. And we’re pretty sure there are multiple other close calls with the DEA ahead.

As a published and accomplished writer, she knows how to get into the minds of the writers and is usually bang on in predicting plot twists before they come to life. When she’s not writing for Daily Soap Dish, Jamie binge watches telenovelas as a way to improve her Spanish. They also fuel her muse, which tends to upset her readers.
