Telemundo La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal we had a little plot twist with Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo). Plus, it looks like letting Mateo Mena (Anderley Palomino) wasn’t the best idea. Let’s take a look at what happened last time. Plus, we’ve got some teasers for what’s to come.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Plot twist

First, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal it looked like Teresa was once again faced with tough luck on a mission she has to find a way around. However, that attack wasn’t a random complication. It seems #TeamTeresa was involved and everything went down exactly as Teresa wanted it to.

It was all part of a plan to get Lorenzo Mortati (Marcelo Dos Santos) to trust her. In fact, Teresa wanted him to, “trust me more than his own mother.” If tonight’s teasers are any indication, we think she accomplished her mission.

If there’s one thing that could still get in the way, in our opinion, it’s the people around Mortati. A couple of his closest associates want to investigate the alleged heiress and think there’s something fishy about a businesswoman having moves like what Teresa demonstrated for Lorenzo.

We’ll have to wait and see if they come up with anything before Teresa gets what she needs and takes off. On a side note, we got a real kick out of what a nervous guy Lorenzo is and how he stress eats. Seems a bit off for the guy who apparently has an underground casino. He better hope the police never have the chance to raid the place, because we don’t think he can handle that.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Big mistake?

Elsewhere, we still think Mateo and Sofia Dantes (Isabella Sierra) make a cute pair. Plus, we liked how he was willing to give up everything he knew to follow Sofia into potential danger. Still, we’re not sure his presence is a good idea. First, he made a phone call back home recently that was a lead for the DEA. Not a smart move, even if he doesn’t know someone is aware of his call. But in the last episode, Sofia told him to stay put a minute while she took care of something.

He ultimately disobeyed her and ended up accidently tripping an alarm that almost spoiled the entire operation their team was working on. Sure, he knows he messed up and apologized. However, we think he needs to prove himself worthy of sticking around at this point.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Tonight

As for what’s coming, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Lorenzo has fallen into Teresa’s trap perfectly. He’ll invite her and her supposed husband to take part in a poker game. This will confirm for Teresa the casino she was looking for is located in the hotel. While they’re playing, Landero will notice Julieta is paying special attention to a Gregorio Ocampo. So, Landero will believe it’s possible Gregorio is one of the horseman they’re looking for.
