Telemundo La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal #TeamTeresa is in a sad state right now. Meanwhile, poor Genoveva Alcalá (Kika Edgar) got some disappointing news. Here’s what you need to know.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Not so fast…

First, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Genoveva got some great news last time when she learned Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita) was on the verge of a huge fall. She was so happy, she decided to celebrate by getting plastered with her assistant, Susana Guzmán (Sofía Lama). It was a fun moment, until things got awkward. Susana ended up kissing Genoveva in her drunken state and was completely embarrassed. However, Genoveva was cool about it the next day and everything seemed to be back on track.

Then Danilo Márquez (Emmanuel Orenday) showed up. Unfortunately for the trio, he came bearing news updates. All of which showed Epifanio looking well and completely confident. Definitely not the look of a man of the verge of ruin. So, it looks like Genoveva isn’t going to be free of her evil husband just yet. We’re still hopeful Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo) managed to keep the real important evidence for herself, leaving Epifanio with little to bargain with. We’ll see. There will be a meeting between him and Senator Jane Kozar (Beth Chamberlin) in the next episode.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: On the run—again

Speaking of Teresa, her team was already split in two to accomplish their mission. Now, it’s worse. Teresa, Oleg Yosikov (Antonio Gil), Anton (Dimitry Anisimov), and Pablo Landero (Pêpê Rapazote) are trapped in that cave-in. And one of them is in horrible shape, but more on that later.

As for the other half of the team, Epifanio’s men attacked, using the locators he insisted they all get implanted. The group managed to get free of the attackers and lose the devices, but they’re now divided into three groups. Two of which appear to be lost in the woods, with Sofia Dantes (Isabella Sierra) being injured after a fall.

We’ll see how they manage to get out of this. But we do think Faustino Sánchez Godoy (Lincoln Palomeque) and his companions are in worse shape. They got a ride and have money coming, but the authorities are watching his cousin. So, they’ll definitely have another fight to escape on their hands.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: What’s next

As for what’s coming, be ready for a tough night. Anton’s condition is not getting any better and it’s breaking Oleg’s heart. We assume that Anton won’t make it if those shots in the preview are any indication, but who knows? Anything is possible. Still, we’re leaning toward a tragic end, given they’ve already killed off a couple of people this season.

Elsewhere, Epifanio will learn who the leak at the National Palace is. And he will believe blackmail is the best way to get what he wants. If he does learn Genoveva is the one working against him, we’re pretty sure that blackmail will involve access to her son. If he’s found out her accomplices instead, anything can happen.
