Telemundo La Doña spoilers indicate Lucho Navarrete’s (Bernardo Flores) plan is working. But he had a little bit of help. If you remember from previous episodes, he got an idea in his head. Lucho figured if he could work his way into taking over Braulio Padilla’s (José María Galeano) business, he’d be set. He can use all those guns, men, and money to protect himself and leave the country. Thursday’s episode saw him making progress. Here’s what you need to know.

Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Unexpected help

Braulio ended up being his own worst enemy in Lucho’s plan. Convinced to check in on his son, Braulio showed up at Diego Padilla’s (Leo Deluglio) place. Unfortunately, La Doña spoilers reveal this meeting didn’t go very well. The ended up getting into a huge fight where Diego accused him of killing Manuel Padilla (Luis Xavier). Obviously, Braulio took very well to Diego’s attitude toward him. Namely, he did what he does best—hit. He had Diego on the floor and a mess emotionally before he left.

As the Telenovelas Gods would have it, Lucho just happened to be at the house as well. While Braulio was never aware of Diego’s company, Lucho heard every word said. He also saw the aftermath of the fight once Braulio left. The little psycho ended up comforting Diego to end Wednesday’s episode. This left a perfect opening for last night.

Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Lucho’s weaknesses

We have had our doubts about Lucho. He’s been very high-strung and impulsive in his actions. Not a great way for someone to get away with nefarious schemes. He’s also got a fuse about a quarter-inch long. Another strike against him. And we still don’t see him taking control of a big arms operation against someone like Braulio. He’s not as cold as Braulio can be. Unless he’s dealing with a woman, of course. However, the biggest strike might be his powers of disguise.

To hide his identity, he resorted to dyeing his hair. And we just have to take a moment to marvel at what a horrible job he did. The ‘do goes from being extreme yellow to a crazy green. Not to mention, it looks fake as all get out. Seriously. A typical Ken doll has more natural hair. How he thought that very conspicuous change would help him stay under the radar is beyond us. But he does do one thing right.

Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Master of manipulation

If there’s one thing Lucho knows, it’s manipulating people. La Doña spoilers indicate he managed to make Isabela Sandoval (Paola Albo) think he’s a poor, tortured addict who loves her. He used his childhood to control Eleonora Navarrete (Alejandra Barros), and he managed to convince José Luis Navarrete (David Zepeda) for a long time that everyone was lying about him. Not easy to do when you have a couple of eye witnesses, one of which is highly credible.

He put those powers to work on Diego. Following the fight with Braulio, Lucho went above and beyond in offering support to Diego, as well as playing on the suffering Diego has endured from his father over many years. He was careful in his sales pitch, however, and managed to convince Diego the two of them could take over the business.

We see nothing but bad coming. Again, Braulio is a tougher sort, in our opinion. He won’t be easy to take down. Even if he does manage it, we don’t see this working out for Diego at all. Right now, we think Diego is simply Lucho’s means to an end. Once he no longer serves a purpose, Lucho will find a way to get rid of him. Stay tuned to see how it all turns out.
