They always say a parent’s love is beyond condition. Often, people will not notice bad behavior and other things because they’re looking at a kid through a parent’s eyes. It seems José Luis is no exception. Even as he complains about Lucho Navarette’s (Bernardo Flores) lazy ways ,he’s still one of Lucho’s staunchest supporters. However, this is going to be a huge mistake, and possibly one of his biggest heartbreaks.

He’s completely oblivious to Lucho’s psycho tendencies. La Doña spoilers indicate he’s paid of Ricardo Vidal (Eric del Castillo) to keep the cops away from his pride and joy. What he doesn’t know is, his son is the leader of the Rainbow killers. Not only that, but he’s putting the family at great risk with a very stupid move. So, what happens when he learns the truth?
Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Truth hurts
We are pretty sure he’ll find out this truth any day now. La Doña spoilers reveal a recent promo made it look like he got the news. Of course, Telemundo promos are sometimes misleading, so it could take quite a while before that truth comes out. When it does, we expect José Luis to be in massive denial. He’s already ignoring the fact two of his employees, both connected to Lucho, have been either proven to be involved, or suspected to be. He also didn’t notice that Leonora Navarette (Alejandra Barros) is clearly lying about things, and that Lucho is being far too unavailable at the moment to not be involved.
However, we’re torn on what will happen when the truth comes out. It’s very likely he’ll keep protecting Lucho to save face. Again, he’s been blinded enough so far, so that father’s love might just win out there as well. More likely? He might just decide (if things get too hot) that protecting Lucho is too dangerous to keep up. There are a couple of reasons for this.
Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Motivation
One, he’s selfish. La Doña spoilers indicate he has no problem treating his wife like garbage and cheating at the drop of a hat. He also seems extremely motivated by money. We don’t think he’ll risk his entire company to protect his son if he learns just how depraved (and stupid) he really is.
Secondly, there’s Altagracia. He’s already well-aware of how she operates. If he hides Lucho’s guilt and she finds out, she’ll come at him with everything she’s got. And she has plenty now that she’s gotten some of her properties back and a chunk of the business. She wouldn’t hesitate to use this against him to take it all, should she find out. And let’s face it—she will. It’s what Altagracia does. Plus, her niece, Isabela Sandoval (Paola Albo), is being used as an alibi by Lucho. She won’t stand for a killer being anywhere near Isabela, or anyone who protects one. José Luis better choose his next move carefully.
