Most recently, influencer Emma Chamberlain went on the Call Her Daddy Podcast and did a two-part interview detailing how when she first got to LA that a lot of her former influencer friends took advantage of her and basically were just friends with her for clout and content purposes.
Emma didn’t name any names specifically, but a lot of people were speculating about the two friend groups that she had circa 2019 and one was the sister squad and the other was “the gerties”. The sister squad included James Charles and the Dolan Twins, and the gerties were several girls that used to make vlogs together.

Both friend groups have since fallen apart, it was speculated that one of the reasons why was that Emma and one of the Dolan Twins were actually dating and they had a huge messy break-up which would honestly make sense. (However, the Dolan Twins don’t really vlog anymore they’re not really on the social media sphere anymore.)
But on an Instagram post advertising the Call Her Daddy interview, Tana Mongeau decided to insert her two cents by saying that Emma obviously had to be talking about “Chames Jarles” ahem.
Again, Emma didn’t specify who she was actually talking about so we don’t exactly know. We just know that Emma kind of stopped hanging around both of these friend groups and has since branched out and made her own content and now she works for Louis Vuitton and does all sorts of brand deals and even hosted the met gala, so she’s not doing too bad for herself.
However some fans of Tana’s are pointing out that the only thing that Tana ever does is to call out James Charles, but when it comes to other people that she’s friends with (AKA: David Dobrik) she’ll let them slide with no problem. We must admit, Tana does seem to lean a bit too hard on James Charles, especially when he hasn’t really done anything as of late.
However, Tana really, really seems to hate him – though we do kind of wonder if he offered to come on her podcast and clear the air, would that mend fences between them? Seems to be the trick with other people. (Ahem, Mindy.) Stay tuned!!!
