So, who decided to invite Tana Mongeau to New York Fashion Week? That seems to be the question on everyone’s minds when a certain fan of Tana’s on TikTok named Monica called her out for posting on her IG story hinting that she was bored. Tana attended the event with Jeff Wittek, but later admitted in a tweet that she actually had fun and corrected the fan on one statement, “They didn’t dress me.”
Apparently, Monica was under the impression that Tana had received the full glam treatment and had been dressed by the people at NY Fashion Week… no not quite. Being invited to attend an event does not automatically mean that you’re going to get the star treatment, sure, Tana probably did have a glam squad but it was probably people that she hired.

Either way, between her and Jeff Wittek there did not seem to be any haute couture between them. Of course, Tana was dressed a little fancier than Jeff because she is considered a “make-up guru” on YouTube, even though her makeup videos consist of “How to cake your face like a hoe” which is an interesting set of life skills to possess, if not quite marketable on the professional scene, but hey, we get it, Tana is not an office appro kind of girl.
We’re not judging. Jeff looked to be in a t-shirt and jeans, he is a podcaster and we’re pretty sure that he just came as Tana’s plus one for the event.
Tana and Jeff even addressed this little clap back in a “mini podcast” video where Tana stated one more time that the people at NY Fashion Week did not dress her. Jeff came to her defense on the second part asking the fan how did they know that Tana was snotty to her fans if she didn’t even go up to her? (The fan stated this was why she didn’t go up to her.)
Both Tana and Jeff said that they were both nice to the fans that approached them at the event, we’ll see if anything else comes out about that. Certainly, some stans want to jump on the bandwagon and say how nice Tana was to them… we”lol see. Stay tuned!!!
