Tom Brady Keeping His Focus On The NFL And His Kids Following Divorce From Gisele Bündchen
The star has had a lot on his plate ever since the reports first emerged that Gisele was unhappy with his decision to come out of retirement on the basis that he was spending less time with his children. But now that the divorce has been finalised, Tom is seeking to put the children first.
This was most notably seen when he was spotted taking his children to the movies. Not only that, but he also recently shut down rumours that he was considering retirement. With that being said, Tom has made it clear exactly where his priorities lie going forward.
In his comments, he said: “Obviously, the good news is it’s a very amicable situation and I’m really focused on two things, taking care of my family and certainly my children, and secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games.”
This idea is something that Brady hopes to instil in his children by teaching them the concept of working through adversity. This is something he has had to deal with both on and off the field, as the latter point has resulted in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers losing four games already.
And in an attempt to give back, Brady also put his time behind volunteering at a food bank. The fans on social media, however, were not convinced by what Brady had to say. A certain subset of people felt that the split was anything but amicable since the things Brady is claiming to do could have been done with Gisele.
So the fact that they were not must have led to some hostility. One person wrote: “NO DIVORCE is COMPLETELY amicable.” As long as Brady is happy, then who are to question otherwise. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward.
