Tom Brady chose not to include Gisele Bundchen, his former spouse and a renowned supermodel, in his Christmas greeting following his team’s victory on Christmas day.
Tom Brady Blanks Ex-Wife Gisele Bundchen In His Christmas Speech
The 45-year-old quarterback acknowledged his ‘parents’ and ‘children’ in a festive greeting, however The New York Post reported that the 42-year-old Brazilian was not included.
And after having come through his match with the Arizona Cardinals, this is what Brady had to say: “I want to say hi to my parents, my sisters, my kids, love you all, hope you had a good time. Hope you had a good time, Merry Christmas to everyone, see you soon.”
This was significant in more ways than one. Not only did Brady fail to mention his ex-wife Gisele in his public speech, despite the fact that they had been married for around 13 years, it was a milestone in another way too.
This was the first time that he had played on Christmas day. That was understandably going to be difficult since it would take time away from his children. While that may have been the case, Brady did make it clear that he would be spending time with his children the day after.
And that is something he had to get used to. In some prior comments, Brady remarked: “It’ll be a new experience that I’ve never had before that I’m gonna learn how to deal with. And I think that’s what life’s about.
“I’m gonna learn how to deal with Christmas Eve in a hotel, and I’m gonna have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a professional.”
With the victory in hand, Brady can now focus on his children. But as for Gisele, it is safe to say that he has moved on from her. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
