Sherri, for her part, is set to take over Wendy Williams’ role, despite the latter claiming that she will return. But with conflicting reports emerging over Wendy’s next move, that has left the staff currently working there with mixed feelings.

After all, what does the future hold for them if Wendy does return? Much in the same way, do they have a place in the lineup going forward should Sherri continue?  And with so many questions still yet to be answered, there has been a split when it comes to Wendy.

One source said: “There’s talk [of how to say goodbye] and a lot of people on staff feel like there should be a tribute to [Wendy] or some kind of farewell..People want her to come back… A lot of people.”

And yet, that runs contrary to what others are reportedly feeling in the workplace. Amongst a certain group, there has been long-standing trepidation over the star’s mental health.

It is no secret that Wendy went into a legal dispute with Wells Fargo after they had decided to freeze her bank account on the basis that she was not of sound mind. Thus, they requested that she needed a guardianship. And with her health being so talked about, the staff were distressed about their own future in and amongst this.

Another source stated: “No. She held the fate of almost 125 staffers’ ability to care for their families [in her hands]. They’re glad they finally have some security in their life [with Shepherd’s show].”

With Wendy’s time set to be up officially in June, it will be fascinating to see where she goes next. And if her future endeavors can be half as good as her show, then she will have done well. We will have to see how this will play out going forward. So there you have it folks.
