In his autobiography, Spare, Prince Harry discussed how he was wrongly accused of cheating on certain assessments during his school years, and he was eager to clarify the allegations.
Prince Harry DENIES Cheating In His Exams
Nonetheless, the 38-year-old said that the Royal Family refused to let him hold a press conference to put an end to the spreading rumours. When Harry was a mere 18 years old in 2005, one of his teachers at Eton was charged with providing assistance to him, even purportedly doing his assignments for him.
His prior art instructor stated earlier that she was deeply surprised when another group solicited her assistance for Harry, and the instructor denied all the allegations as well.
With that being said, Harry wanted to make sure in no uncertain terms that his name was not caught up in anything that was not true. In his book, he wrote: “I was accused of cheating.
“An art teacher came forward with evidence of cheating, which turned out not to be evidence of cheating. It turned out to be nothing at all, and I was later cleared by the exam board. But the damage was done.”
Nevertheless, the Duke of Sussex alleges that he wanted to hold a press conference so that he could put it out there that he was innocent. But rather than being provided the opportunity to do so, it appears that this was not possible.
This may have been due to the fact that the firm wanted to avoid as much controversy as soon as possible. The following comments confirmed as much: “The accusation stuck.
“Brokenhearted, I wanted to release a statement, hold a press conference, tell the world: I did the work! I didn’t cheat! The Palace wouldn’t let me.” Looking back, it was just as well that nothing untoward had happened in the end. And that is the most important thing.
